I stared out the window, watching the morning light spill over the tiles and furniture, while my thoughts wandered to the things that had left parts of my heart in disarray. *** Over the past year, I've been learning to dissect my emotions—examining them closely, one by one, and giving them names. On days when getting out of bed feels impossibly hard, I start a dialogue with myself, articulating the observations I've gathered about my emotions. This act of articulating my feelings has become an upgraded feature of my inner dialogue. How Curiosity Unlocks Empathy

As an instructional designer, I’ve learned that curiosity isn’t just about learning, it’s about understanding. “Is this learning content digestible for my learners?” “Does this course meet its goal?” “Is the concept taught by the SME relevant and clear?” As an instructional designer, these questions run through my mind daily. This curiosity isn’t just about getting the job done it’s about truly understanding the topic, the learners, and the challenges they might face. I vividly recall working on a  computer network  tutorial where the struggle to understand the content mirrored the struggle my learners might encounter.
